“Women Who Act In Spite of Any Fears, Circumstances, Challenges or Setbacks … Stopping at Nothing to Create the Lifestyle of Their Dreams Are Truly DARING!”

Francine Allaire,  Founder of The Daring WomanTM

What does the word DARING mean? According to the dictionary, the definition of the word DARING is:  Willing to take or seek out risks, audacious, brave, bold, adventurous and courageous.

Are You a Daring Woman?

A daring woman sees her dreams clearly, and she is manifesting them with fierce grace and style, despite any fears, challenges, circumstances or setbacks.  Being Daring is about mindset, courage and attitude. It has little to do with aptitude. There are a myriad of other elements that embody a Daring Woman. Here are a few:

She looks to enrich her life through the addition of meaningful relationships, connections and knowledge.

She constantly seeks out news thrills and experiences and pushes herself beyond her comfort zone.

She accepts herself as she is, flaws and all, and embraces her uniqueness.

She is confident, warm and engaging and does not feel threatened by the success and achievement of other women.

She asks for what she wants and stands up for what she believes.

She lives her life on purpose and by her own rules, not by the needs and wants impose on her by others.

She does not “put herself on sale”. She knows her worth and would not settle for less than what she deserves.

She promotes herself with authenticity, confidence and style and is always looking for new ways and venues to get the word out about her product, service or expertise.

She already is or has a plan for becoming financially free.

…and she is yearning to be in the company of like-minded women who desire the same things she does.

Have you embraced this side of yourself?

Are you ready to join the ranks of Daring Women? I DARE to believe that YOU are!

D.A.R.E  Dream Bigger, Act Bolder, Reach Hire, Enjoy the Rewards!

Have you ever wondered, what your life would be like if you dared to work differently, to dream bigger and to envision the unthinkable?

What does it really mean to be DARING?

It is not only about having dream, it is about daring to dream bigger and to take risk and bold actions to pursue your dreams with passion and gusto.

It is not about making a living, it is about daring to be profitable doing what you love,  to enjoy an extraordinary lifestyle and to make a real difference in the world.

It is not about backing down when a challenge or a setback arises, it is about daring to embrace life transitions with grace and courage, to believe in yourself and to use your gifts and talents to the fullest in order to reach your potential no matter what!

It is not about getting older, it is about daring to look and feel your best,  to live brilliantly with wit, style and financial security.

It is not about pursuing what’s doable, it is about daring to step outside of your comfort zone and to achieve what’s possible.

It is not about marketing yourself, your products or services half heartedly and timidly, it is about daring to show up,  to speak up, to stand up and to stand out and to dare to reveal your authentic, bold self to the world in ways you’ve never done before.

Being Daring is not for the faint of hearts.  It is exclusively for women who are committed to taking their lives, businesses and relationships to an entirely new level.  Women who are vested in daring themselves and each other to live the lifestyle of their dreams on their own terms no matter what!

countmeinHere is to Being DARING, to living life with passion not caution.   DARE to Take Action and See Yourself Soaring to New Heights.

Have a daring day!

Testosterone-Free Selling: Why Women Make the Best Salesmen!

October 22, 2009

Sellingdaretosoar with Authenticity, Confidence & Style!

They say, “if you build it, they will come.”

Raise your hand if you once thought that opening the doors would bring in the customers.  Yeah, we did, too.  And then you ran the numbers and reality hit you like a cold shower.

Whether you know it or not, you’re selling something.  Fundamentally, you’re selling yourself.  By and large, people like people.  People want to have a relationship with someone they like, respect and trust.  It’s as much about a good laugh as a good deal.

Behind every successful business, project, venture and dream is a dynamic, passionate captain steering the ship.  You can assert yourself and your business testosterone-free.  Build relationships as you boost your business.  Sell yourself, your unique ValYOUTM and soar!

This does not mean every word should be “I” or “me.”  You are a piece in the puzzle your customer needs to solve.  Cast yourself as the solution to their puzzle.

Women are nurturers and helpers.  The key to great and confident selling is helping, sharing and solving.  Accentuate your naturally helpful side and create a win-win.

Women can often make referrals and they enjoy sharing their contacts. Establish yourself as a trusted advisor.  Become a “doctor of selling.” Diagnose before you prescribe and, if you do not have the prescription and you know someone who could deliver the solution, then act as a referral source.  The client is most likely to come back to you every time he or she has a problem and you will get the first right of refusal.

Women understand that negotiation is not a contest or a wrestling match.  It is a communication between two parties to bring out a mutually acceptable result.

Women know how to dress the part.  When selling, follow the rule of the three Cs: dress for comfort, compatibility and confidence.

Women are most likely to choose a business, product or service that aligns with their personality, lifestyle and values.   We seldom do something for the sake of money alone.

We have what it takes simply by virtue of our gender.  Our strengths, nurturing style, passion and intuition, once discounted in the business world, have now taken hold.  We need to use these very special attributes as a means to ignite our self-confidence and enthusiasm and let it shine through.

Is Collaboration The NEW Workplace Business Model ?

October 10, 2009

business-men-women_42-15344597Collaboration isn’t the buzzword of the week.  It is the NEW Workplace Business Model, because effective collaboration is intrinsic to how well an organization (big or small) or a business unit will perform over time, and that includes inside collaboration across functional teams, departments or business units, as well as, collaboration with potential partners, suppliers, even at times, with our competitors (referred to as co-petition)

Collaboration is often viewed of as “a nice to have”  for businesses.  Collaboration between employees, contractors, supplier/vendors, partners, and customers bring unbelievable competitive advantage to business.  Businesses and individuals that have learned to work collaboratively have seen startling results.  They have greater agility, make better decisions, and are more competitive.

Collaboration is simple to understand and should be second nature. It means we do something better, often bigger, when we do it together. Yet it is difficult to attain.

While collaboration is very important for larger companies,  it is essential to solo-preneurs or small business owners. As a solo-professional or small business owner, you have very limited resources:  time, money, access, connections or knowledge.   So collaborating is essential to the survival and growth of your business or practice.  With the right collaborative partners you will think bigger, achieve more, and have more fun!

What are some of the tangible and intangible benefits of collaborating?

Some tangible benefits:

  • Help you build your list and grow your network much faster that you can on your own
  • Increase your chances of beating the competition
  • Increase your sales and profits more quickly
  • Gain exposure and visibility
  • Co-Create multiple streams of income (events, products, programs…)
  • Speed to market
  • Expand your reach for your product or service by giving you access to a new market, to new customers or to referrals
  • Save you money by sharing the risk and expenses ex: marketing and advertising costs.
  • Build a support team
  • …..

Some intangible benefits:

  • Have more fun in your business
  • Gain notoriety or credibility by association
  • Give you the confidence to tackle something you wouldn’t do on your own
  • Accountability to getting things done

For over two decades, as an award-winning sales, strategic partnering and marketing executive, working for global industry leaders,  I have been building strategic partnerships and providing solutions and successful outcomes to corporations, small business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals.  I attribute my success to my ability and desire to build and foster mutually beneficial and profitable relationships with clients, teammates and partners of all sizes (even with my competitors).  Collaboration is in everything that I do.

In order to better understand the dynamics of collaboration and to provide me the opportunity to share my findings with you, I’ve put together a Short Survey.

Is Collaboration The NEW Workplace Business Model ?

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=JABExyjJZ9B54Nj722ctBg_3d_3d

Through this survey, I’m seeking thoughts and comments from men and women leaders, like you, on why collaboration is often so challenging… and most importantly what could be done (by individuals or organizations) to improve on our ability to achieve successful collaboration in the workplace and in business… leading to more successful outcomes for all parties.

In return for your time and insights, I will provide you the survey results along with a few bonuses. Please connect with me directly at: therelationalstrategist@gmail.com

ps. Please feel free to provide your insights, thoughts and comments right here on this page.
