Daring Principle#1 is about Heightened Confidence, Positive Self-Talk, Practicing Acceptance and Self-Care.
It starts right there, the expression of how we love ourselves is the same expression of how we love others. It is a critical place to start. Because if we do not love ourselves we cannot really love anyone else!
How many women do you know who genuinely and authentically love themselves? Are you one of them? Are you Daring enough to fall madly in love with yourself, with genuine pride not ego? If not, think about what your life would be like if you did!

Dare to NOT give up on your dreams - life is always moving forward, and your dreams are IMPORTANT.
Ah life. Before we know it years are racing by - and the responsibilities never seem to end. We take care of our kids, our homes, our families. Sometimes it feels like we’re living someone else’s life and nobody’s living ours. Don’t let that happen though! Hold onto the things that make you unique and amazing - your dreams!
Sometimes our dreams feel so far away - what do we do recapture them? First, schedule some alone time on your calendar to regroup and remember. There were things you wanted from your life, and even though things may be a little overwhelming, there’s no reason you can’t have them. Next, set up a plan to move toward those dreams. Want to finish your degree? Take the first step of applying to a great university - or even grab a class at a local community college. Want to have your own business, but feel stuck in your 9-5? Start a hobby business to do in your spare time. The point is this: Maybe you can’t live your dreams completely, but you can let them fill the life you have.

Having an amazing mentor will take you to places in your career and your life that you may have not even thought possible. As powerful women, we sometimes think we have to have all the answers - by engaging a mentor, we are able to let our hair down and ASK the questions instead.
A mentor provides more than a sounding board for ideas - if you choose someone who has been down the road you’re on she will help you bypass some of the roadblocks along the way.
